Tens 7000

This Tens unit is used for generalized pain control. It can be used on most parts of the body to decrease nerve impulses and release endorphins to decrease pain. This model is for patients who are not the best with technology and want this device to be as simple as turning a nob.

Auvon Tens unit

This model offers the same pain control benefits as the Tens 7000. This unit is for patients who are better at technology and like to have more freedom to customize the settings of the unit.

TheraGun

This is used to decrease muscle tension, increase blood flow and decrease pain. This can be used on most parts of the body but it is recommended to avoid bony or sensitive areas. This is the original version of this modality with a stronger motor and typically lasts longer.

Massage Gun

This is an inexpensive version of the Theragun so it is good if you are on more of a budget but the motor may not last as long as the Theragun.

Scraping Tools

This is used to decrease muscle tension, increase blood flow and decrease pain. It is typically used on tight muscles that are causing pain or tightness for various reasons. *Always use this tool in conjunction with some sort of lotion (substantial amount if it absorbs into the skin) to decrease friction between the skin and the tool.

Tiger Tail

Mainly used for warmup and recovery for lower extremity muscles. It is best used after a long run or explosive workout to give a self-massage to your calves, hamstrings, and quads. It promotes blood flow, decreases muscle and fascial tension.

Elasto-Gel Ice Pack

This is an ice pack that is perfect for providing comprehensive and contouring cryotherapy to your body. It is great for patients who just went through a surgery, have nerve pain or an extensive injury.

Theracane

This is used to relieve muscle tension specially for pain in the scapular region that is typically hard to reach/self-massage. The typical patient who can benefit from this the most is someone who is sitting for long periods of time for work, overhead athletes or new moms who are breastfeeding.

Please note:

Before using any of these products, make sure you are evaluated by a pelvic floor physical therapist to see if the product is right for you.

Kegel Exercise Weights

The pelvic floor is just like any muscle in the body! So just like you would strengthen your biceps with weights, you can do the same for your pelvic floor. This is used for strengthening the muscles after exceeding the capacity of regular contractions against gravity.

vaginal dilators

These are used to decrease tissue sensitivity/pain to stretch of the pelvic floor especially with insertion to the pelvic floor. There are multiple different sizes and diameters so look for this in particular before buying.

Intimate rose pelvic wand

This is a great product if you are struggling with a lot of muscle tension in your pelvic floor. It can be used vaginally or rectally to improve bowel movements, pain with insertion and prolapse/leakage due to a tight pelvic floor.

Tush baby carrier

This is a great product when you're holding your baby/toddler. It works to decrease hip, neck, back or shoulder pain when holding your child for longer periods of time.

Good Clean Love Lubrication

This is one of my favorite lubricants to use to decrease pain or friction during intercourse/insertion. It is a water based product with ingredients that are typically non-irritating to most people.
